Our Minister

Rev. Jane Altman Page

On September 24, 2006, the Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of Statesboro ordained and installed our first called minister, the Reverend Dr. Jane Altman Page.  Rev. Jane had been a member of our fellowship for several years and had been preparing for Unitarian Universalist ministry since 2001.  She received her Master of Divinity Degree from Meadville Lombard Theological School in 2006, graduating with the highest academic award given by the faculty.  In June of 2006, she received the hand of fellowship from UUA President Bill Sinkford at the General Assembly meeting in St. Louis, Missouri.  In September 2009, Rev. Jane was awarded final fellowship status.  Rev. Jane serves our fellowship half-time and is usually in our pulpit on the second and fourth Sundays of each month from September through May.  You may read or hear many of her sermons on the web.  However, she states that her sermons were designed to be heard in a live setting!    We invite you to visit us at our services held at 10:30 a.m. each Sunday.  On the Sundays that Jane preaches (usually the 2nd and 4th Sundays of the month), we also have a 9:00 a.m. Serenity Service.

In addition to a pulpit presence, Rev. Jane provides leadership and ministry in other important ways.  One of these is through pastoral care.  She is also available to guide and facilitate weddings, memorial services, and other special ritual events.  You may contact Rev. Jane in any of the following ways:
